The Farm

Set on land that has been in the family for over 40 years, and farmed since it was first settled by pioneers in the early 1800s, Woven Flower Farm continues the rich history of working the land.

We believe that everything we do is woven into the wellbeing of our greater community, and this view influences the way we choose to steward the land and support the lives that enjoy it - all those that buzz, walk, chirp and talk.

Why a flower farm?

Our farm exists to care for our community by caring for the land and sharing the joy of flowers.

We envision a flower farm that offers health, education and access to joyful pursuits for the good of the earth and all neighbors; people and critters alike.

Growing Philosophy

Regenerative
No-Till Practices

Regenerative agriculture and no-till methods strive to protect top soil and increase levels of beneficial microorganisms to build living soils.  We believe healthy soil produces healthy flowers. We are ever in the process of learning how to be better stewards of our soil.

Prioritizing Organic Methods

We manage our farm using organic growing practices. Although we are not certified organic, it is important to us to reduce the chemical load on our family, team, and community.  We want Woven Flower Farm to be a safe place for our children to roam and play.

Pollinator
Friendly

We love pollinators!  Our family is fortunate to have access to local honey from neighborhood beekeepers, and we want to provide abundantly for all pollinators.  We believe that we can cultivate beautiful blooms for our customers AND grow flowers to provide precious habitat for pollinators.

In all these things, we are continually learning how to improve our farm for the benefit of our community.
